Tabitha

Tabitha Cambodia was founded in 1994 to work alongside the poorest members of the community, helping people to generate an income and improve their quality of life through cottage industry, savings programs and community development initiatives. To date Tabitha has positively affected over 250,000 Cambodians and is currently working with 11,417 families directly impacting on 91,336 people.

Tabitha is a sustainable non-profit, non-political organization, with minimal overheads and running costs. All funds are used to help the poorest people in Cambodia by running self-help programs focusing on personal and financial development.

Primary Tabitha activities include community development by encouraging personal savings thorough cottage industry and house building programs.

Cambodia House is proud to have known Janne Ritskes and the Tabitha Foundation since 1998. To find out more about Tabitha visit www.tabitha.ca
