Cambodia House is a not-for-profit business established in 1999 by Mary Read, proprietor of Reads of Woollahra, to present the products of Cambodia to the Australian market.

The range focuses on the use of traditional hand-loomed Khmer silks... translated into exotic homewares and accessories including; cushions, throws and bedspreads. Cambodia House also has introduced new dyeing techniques and screen prints to those we work with in Cambodia and also have an extensive range of fashion handbags and scarves as well as a beautiful range of small gift items including jewellery rolls, lipstick holders and notebooks.

Other traditional materials that are sourced in Cambodia are woven reed products which are developed into floor mats and placemats as well as brass, stone and wood which provide the source for handmade decorative pieces.

Cambodia house is currently involved with four non-government organizations working with people with disabilities, urban poor, female land mine victims and rural youth. The project is based on income generation, independent living and training.
